June 2023 is a number 4 universal month in western numerology. Imagine a person in your life who is your guide. They are focused, stable, loyal, and responsible. And no matter what the obstacle is, they brace themselves up for it. This is the hardworking and admirable energy of number 4. This is energy of June 2023.
This is the month when that dream that came to us in the month of May will need to be worked on. A career change, having a baby, a promotion, moving houses, finding love, wanting more money – whatever it was, our hearts were gifted with a dream. After not knowing for a very long time, some of us finally got a glimpse into that elusive desire of our heart.
In June, our wise and loyal friend, Number 4, is asking us: So, you have a dream. What are you going to do about it?
4 wants us to dance in its energy. It’s asking us to adopt its art form – the art of focus and perseverance.
While the initial passion of our dreams can jump start our work towards it, it cannot sustain this work. Obstacles will arise, and we may find ourselves sneaking towards procrastination, laziness, and limitations.
It is important to note that June 2023 is not just a 4 universal month in western numerology, but a 13/4. 13 – the much feared number throughout history has a message so transformational only if we could pay attention. 13/4 is about overcoming obstacles. It’s about having the sheer courage and devotion to the thing that has finally awakened in our heart.
While we work on ourselves and our dreams this month, our biggest obstacle will raise its head in the form of our own mind and we may find ourselves saying:
Can I really do this?
May be I don’t deserve that promotion.
I don’t think I will find a new job.
I don’t think I will find someone who truly loves me.
I think I really am too old for this.
What if I fail?
What if this is not my path? What if I am misunderstanding the signs of the universe?
What if I am never going to get better?
With this mindset, we keep living below our potential. With this mindset, every time we face a hurdle or an obstacle, we slowly crawl back into the small shell that we are so happy to breakthrough on a rather good day. Are we willing to embody the energy of the 13/4 to stay focused, perseverant and resilient in the face of inevitable storms? Our willingness because more crucial as we’re presently in the universal year 7 where many of us hold a chance to wake up to our greatest potential. This year is a time for inner workings, inward focus, and spiritual awakenings. Whatever we want to see changed in the world, we must start with ourselves this year.
And therefore, the month of June with its 4 energy wants us to do the work and build the foundation.
What if instead of thinking that we have problems on our path, we think that the problem is the path. This can ignite a whole new energy and perhaps even excitement to move through the problems. To consistently show up.
In her funny and moving talk titled “Your Elusive Creative Genius”, Elizabeth Gilbert concludes, “…don’t be afraid. Don’t be daunted. Just do your job. Continue to show up for your piece of it, whatever that might be. If your job is to dance, do your dance. If the divine, cockeyed genius assigned to your case decides to let some sort of wonderment be glimpsed, for just one moment through your efforts, then ‘Olé!’ And if not, do your dance anyhow. And ‘Olé!’ to you, nonetheless, just for having the sheer human love and stubbornness to keep showing up.”
